Wynn Resorts, MGM close Vegas casinos

Wynn Resorts and MGM both announced they would temporarily close their casinos in Las Vegas.

The closures, a response to the coronavirus pandemic, are effective today.

"Nothing is more important than your safety and that of your family. You would personally do whatever is necessary to keep you and your loved ones safe," said Matt Maddox, CEO of Wynn Resorts. "I have that same responsibility to you, and based on all the information I have, this is the right decision, right now."
