Wyndham Worldwide Corp. agreed to sell its European vacation rental business for $1.3 billion.
Under the terms of the deal, private equity firm Platinum Equity entered into a 20-year agreement to pay royalties of 1 percent of net revenue to Wyndham's hotel business.
That will allow Platinum to use the Wyndham Vacation Rentals endorser brand.
