The Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas, has filed suit against the state of Kansas.
U.G. Mayor Christal Watson says the lawsuit was filed to “to ensure a constitutional and equitable process” for the construction of the new Chiefs stadium in Wyandotte County.
U.G. leaders are concerned they may lose out on taxes from the development, according to Fox 4.
