WOW director search continues

The search committee to find a new director, comprising six members of the WOW board and chaired by WOW Board Vice President Lee Gannaway, has received several résumés from candidates across the country.

“We haven’t interviewed anyone yet,” Gannaway said. “We had some names of people that were recommended to us by others in the industry that knew we would be looking for an executive director, and we’re looking to do some interviewing (this) week if we can.”

He added that the committee has considered hiring a headhunting firm to garner additional candidates, though it wants to look through the current candidates first, in an effort to save that additional cost.
