Bass Pro Shops released ticket prices for Wonders of Wildlife ahead of its long-awaited planned opening later this month.

A news release issued by the company indicates the museum and aquarium attached to Bass Pro Shops’ flagship store on South Campbell Avenue will host a Sept. 21 preview for conservation leaders, public officials and donors. A grand opening is scheduled the day after.

Adult ticket prices to both the aquarium and museum will run $40. If purchased separately, they’ll be $30 for the aquarium and $15 for the museum. Bass Pro also announced membership prices starting at $95 for individuals running up to $300 for groups.

Bass Pro announced in March that Wonders of Wildlife would reopen Sept. 21, representing at least the fifth time in nine years for the museum. The venture that opened in 2001 as American National Fish & Wildlife Museum & Aquarium has been closed for renovations since December 2007.

The 350,000-square-foot attraction at 500 W. Sunshine St. includes a 1.5 million-gallon aquarium; more than a mile of trails and exhibits; 35,000 animals; 70,000 square feet of wildlife galleries and dioramas; and fishing halls of fame and a sporting arms museum.

Officials announced in July the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame would relocate to Wonders of Wildlife from Birmingham, Alabama.
