World Wide Technology employee indicted for illegal use of company credit card

Posted online
Authorities last week indicted a World Wide Technology employee and accused him of using a company credit card to pay for online strippers.

John David Berrett, of Gilbert, Ariz., started in December 2004 as a senior engineer and eventually became a national solutions architect.

According to the St. Louis Business Journal, Berrett allegedly purchased over 100,000 in tokens from an online strippers' website using a World Wide Technology credit card.

From Sept. 16, 2013, to Oct. 21, 2014, Berrett falsely redirected more than $476,000 in Word Wide Technology funds for his own gain, according to prosecutors.
