World Bank reduces forecast for global economy

The World Bank is again downgrading its forecast for the global economy.

The aid agency predicts 2.4 percent growth this year, down from the 2.9 percent it had foreseen in January and unchanged from a tepid 2015.

The Associated Press cites commodity-exporting countries struggling with low raw materials prices.
