Workshop helps businesses plan for growth

A daylong workshop in Ozark this month will be aimed at helping small-business owners and city leaders rethink their strategies and plan for the future.

“Growing Your Business … Successfully” will be held 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Ozark City Hall, 205 N. First St.

Julie Short, an instructor with the Small Business Development Center in Springfield, will speak in the morning on “Taking Your Business to the Next Level.” After lunch, Barbara Long, founder of E-Savvy Communications in Jefferson City, will present “Make Your Cash Registers Zing with E-Commerce.”

Following the workshop, attendees are invited to dinner at Riverside Inn at 6 p.m. Meals are not included in the ticket price.
