Drury University's Trustee Science Center is taking shape on Chestnut Expressway between Washington and Benton avenues. Flintco Construction is the general contractor for the project and Oke-Thomas & Associates is the construction administrator. The estimated cost of construction is $13.8 million, and the total project cost is about $18.9 million. Funded entirely by private donations, the 78,000-square-foot center has three levels. It will have classroom laboratories, faculty offices, a central atrium, greenhouse and astronomical observatory. It is scheduled for completion by August of this year.
