Work begins on Colorado Bass Pro store

Dirt is moving and walls are rising for the over 100,000-square-foot Bass Pro Shops store in Loveland, Colo.

Slated to open in summer 2016, the store is an anchor in a 26-acre development that would include a Marriott hotel, restaurants and retail space, according to the Loveland Reporter-Herald.

Bass Pro began work around the same time as Liberty Firearms Institute, which also is building a 100,000-square-foot store at the development.
