Woman set to replace Puerto Rico governor doesn't want job

Puerto Rico Justice Secretary Wanda Vázquez, who is supposed to replace Gov. Ricardo Rosselló, said she doesn't want the job.

Vázquez said she hopes Rosselló will appoint a new secretary of state before he resigns on Aug. 2.

Former Secretary of State Luis Rivera Marín would have been next in line to take over for Rosselló. However, he's among more than a dozen officials who have resigned amid controversy in the U.S. territory.
