A Kansas woman bought the remaining shoes at a Payless store to help Nebraska flood victims.
Addy Tritt negotiated to buy 162 pairs of baby shoes, two pairs of men's shoes and women's shoes for $100 after the price at the store dropped to $1 per pair. The Payless is among stores holding liquidation sales as they prepare to close.
The retail price of the shoes would have been more than $6,000.
