Wisconsin-based print and marketing solutions provider Quad/Graphics Inc. (NYSE: QUAD) announced it would close its Lenexa, Kan., plant by the end of February.
The closure would affect 95 employees, though they have the opportunity to transfer to other facilities.
"It's a strategic business decision," said Claire Ho, director of corporate communications for Quad/Graphics.
Speaking to the company's fourth-quarter results, CEO Joel Quadracci said Quad/Graphics has focused its efforts to "aggressively manage costs and improve manufacturing productivity." He also thanked his team for taking "swift action to offset increased pricing and volume pressures that had accelerated during the second half of 2015."
The company posted 2015 sales of $4.7 billion, a drop from $4.9 billion in 2014.
