Wired editor steps down to start design firm

Wired Editor-in-Chief Scott Dadich is leaving the Conde Nast-owned technology magazine to start his own design firm.

Dadich will be succeeded by Nicholas Thompson, who's currently editor of Conde Nast's NewYorker.com.

Dadich has held the top job at Wired for four years. He's launching Godfrey Dadich Partners, described as a “strategy, content and design firm” in partnership with Patrick Godfrey, who founded business-to-business agency Godfrey Q.
