Bates & Associates Inc. is architect on the $11.5 million Rochester Towne Club Apartments. An apartment complex based on mixing interactive computer technologies with the architecture, the structure includes a parking garage and rooftop patio. Engineers are Colvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and Wells & Scaletty LLC, structural. The general contractor is Build LLC. The project is slated for completion in spring 2014.
H Design Group LLCJoplin Multi-Specialty Dental Complex, 5227 Hearnes Blvd., Joplin
H Design Group LLC is the architect of the $2.4 million Joplin Multi-Specialty Dental Complex for Dr. Jay Joseph. Designed to accommodate four separate dental offices, the complex is a two-story, wood-framed building with brick, veneer stone and an exterior insulation finishing system. Engineers are Malone Finkle Eckhart & Collins Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and Pinnacle Design Consultants LLC, structural and civil. Crossland Construction Co. is general contractor, and Creative Design Consultants will handle interior design. The project is being fast-tracked to meet the owner’s July 1 completion date.
Hood-Rich Inc.Comanche Red River Casino Hotel, 1915 E. Gore Blvd., Lawton, Okla.
Hood-Rich Inc. is the architect on the Comanche Red River Casino Hotel for the Comanche Nation Gaming Board of Directors, an unincorporated, wholly owned enterprise of the Comanche Nation Indian tribe. Engineers on the $10 million project are Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural, and Malone Finkle Eckhart & Collins Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The 86-room hotel will connect the existing Comanche Red River Casino, with standard guest rooms, suites, meeting rooms, a fitness room, pool and restaurant. Crossland Construction Co. Inc. was named general contractor, and interior design by MatchLine Design Group LLC will honor the Comanche Native American heritage. The project is slated for completion in March 2014.
Insight Design Architects LLCStars and Strikes Bowling Center, Naval Air Station, Kingsville, Texas
Insight Design Architects LLC is architect on the Stars and Strikes Bowling Center for Naval Air Station Kingsville. A 10,000-square-foot addition to the existing All Hands Club, the project is being designed to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-Silver standards and will feature a pro shop, offices and a gaming center. Engineers are Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural, and RB Lewis Ltd., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The general contractor on the project, slated for completion in April 2014, is Timberlake Construction.
Paragon Architecture Inc.Crowder College-Webb City campus, 600 Ellis St., Webb City
Paragon Architecture Inc. is the architect for the $5.5 million Crowder College-Webb City expansion project. The design team masked the Federal Emergency Management Agency safe room of this 22,000-square-foot addition to the current campus with additional classroom space. Engineers on the project are Toth & Associates Inc., structural; Allgeier, Martin and Associates, civil; and Malone Finkle Eckhart & Collins Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. J.E. Dunn Construction Co. is general contractor and BC Design Group will provide interior design. The addition will house laboratory and classroom space for general sciences, occupational therapy and general education. Completion is slated for August.

Sam A. Winn & Associates Architects PC is architect for a new athletic facility at Mountain Grove High School for the Mountain Grove R-III School District. Engineers for the 42,000-square-foot project are Anderson Engineering Inc., civil; Pinnacle Design Consultants LLC, structural; and LaRose & Schober Engineering Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The facility will seat more than 2,000 people, on two levels, and will include a tunnel leading directly into the football stadium, locker rooms, a walking track, hall of fame exhibit area and a media classroom.
Baron Design & Associates LLCPanera Bread Bakery Cafe and shopping center, Aurora, Ill.
Baron Design Associates LLC is the architect for a Panera Bread eatery and retail space for Hamra Gateway LLC. Colvin Jones Davis LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer and Bowman, Barrett & Associates LLC is the structural engineer for the project, which includes a 3,900-square-foot Panera reataurant and 10,000 square feet of commercial retail space.Completion is slated for early fall 2013.
Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc.Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum, Visitors Center and Archive Library, East Business Highway 60, Mansfield
Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. is designing the new $1.5 million Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum, Visitors Center and Archive Library to be completed this spring. The new center at Rocky Ridge Farm will house a collection of artifacts related to the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder. The heart of the new facility will be an Archive Library, which will house manuscripts of her writings, as well as papers, photographs and other Wilder-related records and books, allowing controlled access to documents for researchers and providing environmental preservation controls. Butler, Rosenbury & Partners also will provide structural engineering, along with Malone Finkle Eckhart & Collins Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
Buxton Kubik Dodd CreativeSacred Heart Catholic Church, 1405 W. Fair Play St. Bolivar
Buxton Kubik Dodd Creative is the architect on the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau. Connecting the nave, day chapel and foyer to its existing church building and multipurpose building, engineers on the project are Pellham Phillips Architects and Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing and J&M Engineering, structural. Joyce Buxton of Buxton Kubik Dodd Creative, is serving as interior designer and frankZdesign LLC is serving as landscape architect. The building’s design incorporates a modern glass foyer that allows for natural light, incorporates a new covered drop-off entrance and a new bell tower utilizing the churh’s existing historic bell. The project is slated for completion in spring 2014.
Dake Wells Architecture Inc.Liberty United Methodist Church, Lightburn Road, Liberty
Dake Wells Architecture Inc. is the architect for the $5.5 million Phase I campus expansion project for Liberty United Methodist Church. Engineers are J&M Engineering, structural; Smith-Goth Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and AGC Engineers Inc, civil. Located on a 33-acre undeveloped site, the 17,000-square-foot facility expansion consists of a new contemporary worship space for approximately 500 people, classrooms for adult, youth and children’s education programs, a kitchen and fellowship space. Completion is slated for spring 2014.
Esterly, Schneider & Associates Inc. Waynesville Medical Clinic, Waynesville
Esterly, Schneider & Associates, Inc. is architect on the Waynesville Medical Clinic for Phelps County Regional Medical Center. This new five-story, 73,500-square-foot health care facility is in the design phase. The building will be a medical resource center for the Waynesville community and its surrounding areas, featuring work space for physicians and staff and patient care zones. The facility will house an imaging center, rehabilitation department, physicians clinic, rural health clinic, women’s center, sleep lab, pharmacy, laboratory services and a community space, as well as a coffee shop. The project is slated for completion in 2014.
Jack Ball Architects PCHollister High School FEMA shelter, 1798 State Highway BB, Hollister
Jack Ball Architects PC is the architect on the $2.2 million Hollister High School Federal Emergency Management Agency shelter for the Hollister R-V School District. Engineers on the project are Toth & Associates Inc., structural; Pinnacle Design Consultants LLC, civil; and LaRose & Schober Engineering Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The FEMA shelter will serve as a gymnasium attached to the high school building and also will be utilized by the middle school. The project also includes new locker room facilities, a weight room, a coaching office and storage. Slated for completion in the fall, general contractor on the project is Don Crawford Construction Inc.

nForm Architecture LLC is the architect for Unlimited Opportunities Inc.’s new offices.
Engineers on the $3.2 million project are LaRose & Schober Engineering Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing; J&M Engineering, structural; and Great River Associates, civil. This new facility includes a retail space, administrative offices, classrooms and a recycling center that serves a five-county area. Sustainable features of the project include day-lighting spaces, utilizing energy efficient HVAC and lighting systems, incorporating recycled materials and providing infrastructure for solar panel applications. The project is slated for completion in spring 2014.
Sapp Design Associates Architects PCForest Park Baptist Church, 2535 Grand St., Carthage
Sapp Design Associates Architects PC is serving as the architect for renovations of the Forest Park Baptist Church Carthage campus. A renovation of an old lumber yard building, approximentaly half of the exsisting 45,000 square feet will be completely renovated. Engineers on the $700,000 project are Colvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and Toth & Associates Inc., structural. At the heart of the interior renovation will be a new worship space with flexible seating for 470 and a raised platform. Spaces are planned for youth activities and a children's area, which will accommodate 100.

Slone Architects Inc. is designing the $2 million Rapid Roberts Center at Branson Landing for Rapid Roberts Inc. A new 5,600-square-foot convenience store with 3,000 square feet of retail tenant space, engineers on the project are Lee Engineering LLC, civil; Wells & Scaletty LLC, structural; and Crocker Consulting Engineers LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is slated for completion this summer.

Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc.College Station Loft Building, 305 S. Campbell
Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. is the structural engineer and architect on the $2.5 million College Station Loft Building for Springfield Lofts. Colvin Jones Davis LLC will provide mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and Brentwood Management will serve as general contractor on the mixed-use, three story, 26,000-square-foot building. The building will house retail and restaurant space on the first floor and 18 apartments on the upper floors, which will connect to the adjacent parking garage for use by the apartment tenants. The project is slated for completion in the fall.

Colvin Jones Davis LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer on the remodel of the historic Hotel Vandivort for MBH LLC. Other engineers are Wells & Scaletty LLC, structural, and Olsson Associates Inc., civil. The general contractor is Larry Snyder & Co., and Studio R Interiors Inc. will provide interior design for the full remodel into a contemporary boutique hotel. The hotel will include a bar on the main level and a new banquet facility on the fourth floor. The project is slated for a spring 2014 completion.
J&M Engineering LLCNeotech Solutions Inc. office, 2521 S. Wall Ave., Joplin
J&M Engineering LLC is the structural engineer for the new Joplin offices of Neotech Solutions Inc. The 3,000-square-foot project is planned as part of Joplin’s effort to revitalize neighborhood districts affected by the May 2011 tornado. Paragon Architecture Inc. is designing the $500,000 project, and other engineers are Anderson Engineering Inc., civil, and Colvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. RE Smith Construction is serving as general contractor. Slated for completion in June, the offices will have a modern, open design, conforming to Joplin’s revitalization plan while still respecting the neighboring residential districts.
Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins Inc.Joplin Fire Station No. 2, 2825 W. Junge Blvd., Joplin
Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins Inc. is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for this 7,400-square-foot fire station in Joplin, designed by Paragon Architecture Inc. Other engineers are JS Smith Consulting Engineers PC, structural, and Tri-State Engineering, civil. The $1.4 million fire station replaces one of Joplin’s two fire stations lost in the May 2011 tornado. Based on a prototype concept, the fire station includes two apparatus bays, living quarters for five personnel, support facilities and a turnout gear room designed to double as a storm shelter. The project is slated for completion in November.

Security Design Group is structural engineer on Paradise Point Building II for Bluegreen/Big Cedar Vacations LLC. Other engineers on the $9 million lakefront project are Latifi Engineering, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and Wolfe Surveying, civil. Project architect is Bates & Associates Inc., general contractor is Larry Snyder & Co., SWT Landscape Architects will provide landscape work and Jennifer Adams Design Group is performing interior design. The 30-unit timeshare building, with a top floor dedicated to presidential lofts, is slated for completion in January 2014.
Wells & Scaletty LLCWoods Supermarket, 13655 N. State Hwy. 5, Sunrise Beach
Wells & Scaletty LLC is structural engineer on Woods Supermarket for Supermarket Developers Inc. Project architect is Bates & Associates Inc. and other engineers are Latifi Engineering, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and Shafer Kline & Warren Inc., civil. General contractor on the 53,000-square-foot project is Crossland Construction Co., and interior design is being done by Design Source Group. Constructed on a timeline of 167 days, the project is slated for completion in May.
CJW Transportation Consultants LLCHy-Vee, 2100 block of East Sunshine
CJW Transportation Consultants LLC is the civil engineer on the $12.7 million Hy-Vee for Hy-Vee, Inc., who will also serve as in-house architect on the 85,000-square-foot store project, which includes the addition of a new supermarket and convenience store. CJW will also provide traffic engineering, civil site plans, construction coordination and public improvement plans for the project, which is slated for completion in spring 2014.
Horner & Shifrin Inc.I-70 access improvements from Cave Springs Road to Route 79
Horner & Shifrin, Inc. is roadway and structural engineer on $12.5 million I-70 access improvements from Cave Springs Road to Route 79 for St. Charles County and the city of St. Peters. Architect on the project is SWT Design Inc. and other engineers include Crawford, Bunte, Brammeier, traffic and transportation, SCI Engineering, Inc., geotechnical and environmental assessments; and Alta Planning + Design Inc., bicycle and pedestrian facilities. The project is designed to improve traffic flow and access to I-70, reduce congestion, improve safety, spur economic development and address bike and pedestrian needs in this busy commercial area of St. Peters. Construction is estimated to start in February 2014 and should be complete by spring 2015.

Phase I of a multiphase church development, project architect is Bates & Associates Inc. and other engineers are Wells & Scaletty LLC, structural and Greg Whitlock Engineers, civil. General contractor is Larry Snyder & Co. Phase I included a worship space for approximately 300 visitors and children's classrooms. The project is slated for completion in the fall.

Mettemeyer Engineering LLC is structural engineer on Wobbly Boots Roadhouse. Bates & Associates Inc. is project architect and other engineers are Anderson Engineering Inc., civil, and Smith-Goth Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Lake Ozark-based Vizier Construction LLC will serve as general contractor on the new-country style and barbecue road house restaurant, which will offer open and private dining, a bar, game area and entertainment stage. The project is set for completion in the fall.

Miller Engineering PC is structural engineer on the Towneplace Suites by Marriott for RTT Hospitality LLC. Baron Design & Associates LLC is project architect for the five-story, extended-stay hotel immediately adjacent to Mercy Hospital. Other engineers are Colvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and Lee Engineering LLC, civil. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification is anticipated for the hotel, which will feature a stone facade with exterior curtain wall openings, a large pool and a large exercise area. Larry Snyder & Co. will serve as general contractor for the project with an anticipated completion date of January 2014.

Toth and Associates Inc. is the structural and civil engineer on the $9 million Webb City High School sports arena and a Federal Emergency Management Agency shelter addition for the Webb City R-VII School District. Architect on the project is Incite Design Studio LLC and additional engineering will be provided by Kucirek Engineering Inc, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and geotechnical engineering by Terra Consultants Inc. The 65,000-square-foot sports arena project includes a 37,175- square-foot two-story FEMA shelter that will seat 2,000 people during sporting events. The project is one of six safe rooms being designed by Toth and Associates for the school district and is slated for completion in fall 2014.[[In-content Ad]]
