A single ticket that sold in New Jersey won the $315.3 million Powerball jackpot.
If the winner chooses to accept a lump sum, the value will be reduced to $183.2 million. Alternatively, the winner could spread the winnings out over 30 years.
The largest powerball jackpot, according to CNBC, was $1.6 billion in January 2016.
