Fulton-based William Woods University has offered degree programs for adult students in the Branson area since 2002, and now the school is setting up shop in the Taney County town.
William Woods University announced earlier this week that it will open a location March 29 in the Grand Vista Center, 3027 W. 76 Country Blvd.
In addition to Fulton, William Woods has permanent faciliities in Jefferson, City, Columbia and Blue Springs. Mary Ann Beahon, director of university relations, said that classes in areas without a permanent site are typically held on an as-needed basis, generally in temporary space.
The school's Branson location will have classrooms, conference areas and offices, and available programs will include a bachelor's degree in management, a Master of Business Administration and an educational specialist degree.
The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
