Wildflower owners Garrick and April Arnold purchased the property for $245,000 from Jericho Development Co. on Jan. 31. The transaction included retail space at 320 and 330 W. Pershing, where Wildflower's studio and Moda salon are housed, and a vacant lot near the corner of Pershing and Campbell Avenue.
The acquired property increases the five-year-old company's assets, and in turn, helps the Arnolds further their plans to tailor their branding design services
specifically to the restaurant industry.
“Our marketing efforts are definitely geared toward the specialists in that industry, but on more of a regional and national level,” Garrick Arnold said. In about 30 days, he said, even the company's local focus will be on restaurants.
Its client list already includes a number of Springfield eateries, including Mudhouse, Gailey's Breakfast Café, Agrario and Patton Alley Pub.
Both Garrick Arnold and April Arnold have experience in the restaurant industry. Garrick Arnold has spent much of his career in restaurant management, while April Arnold directed the design department for Papa Murphy's Pizza.
