Why this company sent poop to 30,000 people for Black Friday

Posted online
Creators of the popular game Cards Against Humanity sent customers real cow feces in the mail – and they’re thrilled about it.

To protest Black Friday, game makers removed all products from their online store on the day after Thanksgiving – instead offering only a box of what they said was actual crap for $6.

Because of the company’s jovial nature, most thought the stunt was just that and bought in. Time reports the company sold out within hours, selling 30,000 units. But when packages arrived in the mail last week, most were surprised to find literal poop in a box.

Where did the excrement come from?

The team found a cattle ranch in Texas that sold pasteurized bull feces for shipment and understood, “what we were trying to do.”

Didn’t get in on the deal? Don’t fret. The boxes can be found on eBay for roughly $36, a 600 percent mark up.

Time reports the company donated profits to Heifer International.
