Though being voted into the highest political office in America devalued Donald Trump and his businesses, Forbes writers suggest a financial windfall will follow him as he exits the White House.
Sure, Trump's estimated worth is $1 billion less than it was on Inauguration Day, according to a Forbes analysis, but big money awaits him through speeches, books and television deals.
He could follow former President Bill Clinton's playbook. By 2015, Clinton had collected an estimated $106 million from speaking engagements since he left the Oval Office and another $38 million in book deals.
