Who's on Obama's shortlist to replace Scalia?

Legal pundits and close followers of the Supreme Court have begun to speculate on whom President Barack Obama may nominate in the wake of Justice Antonin Scalia's death.

NBC News reports on names that have floated to the top of the speculation pile.

Among them are New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker; Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar; California Attorney General Kamala Harris; U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Sri Srinivasan; Ninth Circuit Judge Paul Watford; and U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Patricia Millett.

Scalia, 79, died Saturday while at a Texas resort.
