Whitlock Co. moves tri-state office

Springfield-based Whitlock Co. held an open house and ribbon cutting Nov. 5 at its new tri-state office, which moved Oct. 18 from Webb City to Joplin.

The company - an accounting and professional services firm - serves clients in southwest Missouri, southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma at its tri-state office, 3929 E. Seventh Street, Joplin.

“We are very excited about the move,” Managing Partner David Myers said in a news release. “Our client base in the tri-state area is constantly growing and changing.

"Our new Joplin office is more accessible to a greater number of our clients and allows us more visibility in the area.”

The Whitlock Co. was founded in 1913 and is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, according to its Web site.
