White House won’t participate in House impeachment hearing

The White House will not participate in a House Judiciary Committee impeachment hearing scheduled for Wednesday.

In a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-New York, White House officials called the impeachment inquiry "baseless” and “partisan."

Politico reports President Donald Trump will lean on GOP allies on the panel, including Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and John Ratcliffe of Texas.
