White House: Trump, Pence don't need coronavirus testing

White House officials say President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence "do not require" testing for the coronavirus.

Trump and Pence came into close proximity to the Brazilian president's press secretary over the weekend at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. The press secretary has tested positive for the coronavirus, and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is undergoing testing.

"Exposures from the case are being assessed, which will dictate next steps. Both the president and vice president had almost no interactions with the individual who tested positive and do not require being tested at this time," White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement.
