The White House is closing in on a spending plan focused on child care, paid family leave and other domestic priorities, sources familiar with the matter told The Washington Post.
The plan could amount to at least $1 trillion worth of new spending and tax credits.
Known as the American Families Plan, the second part of the Biden administration's Build Back Better agenda is expected to be unveiled ahead of the president's joint session of Congress next week.
