White Castle issued a recall for some of its frozen hamburger products over possible Listeria contamination.
“This voluntary recall is precautionary and is the right thing to do," White Castle Vice President Jamie Richardson said. "We want to hold ourselves to the absolute highest standards of accountability in all aspects of our business – and especially food safety."
Public health officials have not reported any illnesses connected to the White Castle burgers.
