WeWork started the search progress for a new CEO, including talks with T-Mobile US Inc. chief executive John Legere, people familiar with the matter told Reuters.
The search folows the departure of co-founder Adam Neumann. Artie Minson and Sebastian Gunningham have been in place as co-CEOs since September, but the sources said WeWork majority owner SoftBank Group is seeking a fresh change.
The sources said Legere is not a leading candidate for the CEO role.
