Co-working space provider WeWork filed suit against Japan's SoftBank over alleged breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty.
The suit comes after SoftBank called off plans to buy $3 billion worth of WeWork's shares.
The suit claims SoftBank already received the benefits of the contract it signed last year, including board control provisions. The suit seeks to force SoftBank to complete the transaction or cover damages for canceling the deal.
