The Wentzville School District conducted layoffs and reduced pay due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The district in the St. Louis suburb laid off 21 staff members. It's reducing the pay of 618 employees by 20%.
Wentzville students are scheduled to attend school this fall on a split schedule to reduce class sizes.
