This is the 23rd Wendy's restaurant location owned by Sam and June Hamra of Wendy's of Missouri Inc.
MoCon Group Inc. is the general contractor, and the architect is Rita Baron of Farnsworth Group Architects Inc.
The new restaurant, which will have approximately 94 seats, is scheduled for completion May 1.
The eatery will be similar to the Hamras' Sunshine Street location, with a dining room and a drive-through.
According to the building permit filed with the city of Springfield, the estimated construction cost for the project is $173,896.
