Wells Fargo draws SEC disclosure probe

The Securities and Exchange Commission is probing whether Wells Fargo violated investor disclosure rules related to its recent sales tactics scandal, people familiar with the matter told Dow Jones Newswires.

The action follows three Democratic senators' calls in late September for the SEC to investigate whether Wells Fargo misled investors.

Wells Fargo already paid a $185 million fine related to the scandal.
