Wells Fargo on Friday agreed to pay a $480 million settlement to shareholders.
Shareholders filed a class-action lawsuit claiming they were harmed by the bank's false statements on its misdeeds.
The settlement, if approved by a federal court, would compensate corporate investors who purchased Wells Fargo stock between February 2014 and September 2016.
