Wells Fargo Advisors reaches $7M settlement with SEC

Wells Fargo Advisors agreed to pay a $7 million settlement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The SEC alleged the broker-dealer arm of Wells Fargo & Co. failed to timely file 34 suspicious activity reports between April 2017 and October 2021.

The reports are designed to deter money laundering.
