This 146,000-square-foot facility will provide a wellness and sports center for Southwest Baptist University students. The project requires the redevelopment of the existing 40-year-old field house into a modern facility, and major additions to meet student needs. The facility includes an expanded basketball arena with a new grand entry, a three-court intramural gymnasium, four racquetball courts, weight and cardiovascular spaces, a climbing wall, swimming pool, sports medicine center, athletic training department and support facilities dedicated to the health, physical education and recreation of students. Charles Hill, AIA, is the project architect.
