Members of the Springfield Sister Cities Association delegation to Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico, return to town Sept. 19. Among the delegation were, from left, Mary Collette, Sandra Dirkson, Russ Dirkson, Andis Osis, Don Tillman, Araceli Hanks, Jane Fast and Michael Hanks. The trip was intended to celebrate the unique cultures and music of the Ozarks, the United States and Mexico. Also traveling with the delegation during its seven-day trip was local band M-Dock, which has also performed in Isesaki, Japan, another Springfield sister city.
