Weird Al's new album has been pirated 40,000 times

Weird Al Yankovic's latest album, "Mandatory Fun," is topping charts - but not just the charts the parody musician is happy about.

While his new work is the top-selling album on Amazon, No. 3 on iTunes and the first comedy album to top the Billboard 200 in more than half a century, it also has been downloaded illegly via BitTorrent over 40,000 times, according to CNNMoney.

That means "Mandatory Fun" is on its way to piracy platinum, if there were such a thing.
