Former film producer Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison after being convicted of sex crimes last month.
Weinstein was convicted of committing a criminal sexual act in the first degree and third-degree rape. His actions were among those that led others to create the Me Too movement against sexual harassment and assault.
Weinstein's attorneys said they would appeal the ruling handed down by Judge James Burke.
