RAISE THE WALL
Representatives of Habitat for Humanity of Springfield raise a wall during a July 10 ceremony to begin construction of the largest home built by the organization. It's a seven-bedroom, three-bathroom house in Woodland Heighs for the Wilmoth family of 10. To help fund the project, American National matched donations in Habitat's Beams of Hope campaign, so $20,026 is going toward construction costs. When complete, the Wilmoths will purchase the home with a 0% interest mortgage upon their completion of 350 sweat equity hours.
