Phoenix Home Care Inc. owner and CEO Phil Melugin cuts the ribbon on the company’s Topeka, Kansas, office. Officials held a ceremony and open house on June 27 for the Springfield-based hospice and health care provider’s newest office. Phoenix now has 18 offices in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois and Colorado.

Judges in the 2018 Focus on Missouri Agriculture Photo Contest chose “Pure Joy” by Jody Teague of Cole Camp as Best in Show. Out of nearly 1,000 photos submitted from across the state, 25 were winners. In addition, the People’s Choice Award went to a picture by Jon Wilson, of Ava. Winning photos will be on display during the Aug. 9-19 Missouri State Fair in Sedalia.
Logistics company Premier Truck Group is building a new truck sales and repair facility in Strafford, using precast contract, metal framing, thermoplastic polyolefin roofing and standing-seam metal in its construction.
