In 2014, the Memphis, Tenn.-based holding company for Diamond International of Springfield took on the Summit name as part of a merger with Amarillo, Texas-based Roberts Trucks Center LLC. Last year, the merged companies operated 29 commercial truck and bus dealerships in seven states and employed 1,300 workers.
