Missouri Sen. The hospital system opened on Sept. 28, 1982, with three physicians, 90 employees and an annual budget of $3.6 million. Branson Bank staff and family members on Dec. 18 present a $2,500 check, as well as hundreds of hats, gloves and scarves, to nonprofit Gift of Hope, represented by Director Meghan Connell, third from left. The donations were raised throughout the year as part of the bank’s Casual for a Cause fundraiser in which bank staff members can dress casually on Fridays in exchange for a $5 donation. The staff, pictured above with President and CEO Bill Jones holding the check, voted to donate the funds raised in 2012 to Gift of Hope in support of the fight against area childhood hunger.
