The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce presents Community Foundation of the Ozarks Senior Program Officer Randy Russell, center, with the 2012 Humanitarian Award at a Dec. 6 luncheon. Russell, a 28-year veteran with Springfield Public Schools who now manages CFO’s competitive grant-making programs, was recognized for his contributions in the areas of arts and education, and his help establishing the school’s Partners in Education program, which is now a national model for businesses wishing to adopt schools.
