Springfield food bank Ozarks Food Harvest accepts a donation of 36,000 pounds of cheese from Land O’Lakes Inc. as part of the manufacturer’s First Run program. The program, which has delivered 92 donations since 2010, is designed to help food banks nationwide alleviate hunger with fresh food products. According to OFH, one in six individuals – and one in four children – in southwest Missouri are food insecure.
