Ozarks Technical Community College honored former BKD LLP CEO Neal Spencer in a Jan. 23 ceremony to dedicate the Neal Spencer Student Lounge. Spencer, who has served on the OTC Foundation Board since 2009, supports the school’s workforce training and associated fundraising efforts, particularly in OTC’s Middle College program designed to transition high school students into higher education. The newly renovated lounge is on the second floor of the Information Commons West building.

Hal Donaldson, co-founder and president of Convoy of Hope, seated at left, and Carol Taylor, president of Evangel University, sign an agreement Jan. 22 to improve access to applied science expertise in countries served by Convoy of Hope. The organizations plan to create applied science training, certification, education, outreach and development programs in the Philippines, Ethiopia, Tanzania, El Salvador, Honduras and others.
