2015 Springfield Business Development Corp. President Tom Rankin of Sperry Van Ness/Rankin Co. LLC welcomes attendees to the annual meeting Feb. 3 at University Plaza Convention Center. Officials say economic development efforts last year netted 10 projects producing 516 new jobs, $22.7 million in payroll and $59.2 million in projected capital investment. Among the recruited companies were St. Paul, Minn.-based FLS Connect and Hazelwood-based Community Wholesale Tire Inc.
