Speaking at DoubleTree Hotel on Feb. 8, Save R-12 Schools Committee Chairman Virgil Hill outlines the group’s opposition to Springfield Public Schools’ $189 million bond issue slated for the April ballot. The group says facilities expansions do not necessarily correlate to greater education for students.
