Motorcyclists prepare to hit the road before Victory Mission’s 25th annual Victory Ride on Oct. 5. The event raised $17,500 toward the mission’s residential rehabilitation program – a tally that will provide 1,176 nights of shelter. This year, riders traveled 40-50 miles through the scenic Ozarks countryside and cruised Commercial Street.

Christian County Circuit Judge Laura Johnson hears oral arguments Dec. 11 with the Supreme Court of Missouri. She sat with the court in Jefferson City by special designation, in place of Judge Patricia Breckenridge, who was recused. Johnson heard the fourth case on the court’s docket, a disciplinary matter involving St. Louis County attorney Rebecca J. Grosser.
