Two members of the Harlem Globetrotters travel through the double barrel roll of Outlaw Run, Silver Dollar City’s $10.5 million wooden roller coaster. On Aug. 14, Silver Dollar City announced the Globetrotters were scheduled to perform over a six-week period next summer at SDC. The team plans to hold three 30-minute basketball experiences daily during the stint. Herschend Family Entertainment Corp., which owns the Branson amusement park, purchased the team last fall from Shamrock Capital Advisors for an undisclosed amount.
