A new fermenting tank is installed last week at Mother’s Brewing Co. Officials say the new vessel nearly doubles capacity of the previous bright tank, typically used in the second stage of fermentation and filtering. Bright tanks clear the yeast from the beer.
Employees of JMark Business Solutions Inc. are back at their desks April 18, about a month after floodwaters caused an evacuation at its 601 N. National Ave. headquarters. On March 13, flooding totaled 13 company cars, and interior damages included a handful of computers. Staff set up shop at Enactus while repairs were made.

The Missouri State University football coach is preparing for his second season with the Bears. While traveling to recruit 14 new players in the offseason, Steckel recognized a need for campus facility upgrades, including an indoor training complex and new weight room.
