Wednesday is deadline to request mailed ballots

Posted online
Greene County voters who plan to cast absentee ballots by mail for the Nov. 7 election must submit a written request to the county clerk’s office by 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Requests for mailed ballots should be signed and must state the reason for voting absentee and contain the addresses to which ballots should be sent.

Voters may vote absentee if they have a lawful reason, such as absence from the county on Election Day or physical incapacity.

The deadline to submit an in-person absentee ballot is 5 p.m. Nov. 6. The clerk’s office will be open 8 a.m.–noon Saturday for absentee voting.

For more information, call the clerk’s office at (417) 868-4055 or visit www.greenecountymo.org/election.[[In-content Ad]]
